Biography
Dr. Zhu was graduated with his PhD degree from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC) (2009-2014) under the supervision of Prof. Biao Yu and received his postdoctoral from the University of Colorado at Boulder (2015-2016) with Prof. Xiang Wang and University of Georgia with Prof. Geert-Jan Boons. During 2019-2022, Dr Zhu start his independent research work at Yunnan University in China, afte which he moved to ZIDD as a principal investigator.

1. Chemical synthesis of bioactive and complex glycoside and glycans
2. Development of novel and efficient methodology to access glycans
3. Structure bioactivity relationship studies on the bioactive carbohydrate-based compound
