The platform for Shared Technologies and Facilities of ZIDD

To further standardize and strengthen the management of large shared instruments，equipment and public laboratories, and facilitate their sharing and integration, the platform for Shared Technologies and Facilities was founded in Zhongshan Institute for Drug Discovery (ZIDD), in the hope of ensuring the well-functioning and efficient use of these instruments, and thus providing better serve and support for the research work of research institutes, as well as "one-stop" key technical services for new drug discoveries. At present, the platform consists of five centers, including the Center for Drug Safety Evaluation and Research (CDSER), Pharmaceutical Preparation Research Center, Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Research Center, Experimental Animal Center, and Nuclear Magnetic Center. There are more than 600 sets of instruments under management, worth over 1 million RMB.
