Biography
Prof. Jia Li graduated from the Department of Pharmacy, Zhejiang Medical University in 1992. He did his postgraduate training at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica Chinese Academy of Sciences since 1994 and obtained the doctorate of science in 2000.

Achievements
Prof. Li has led 20 undergoing pre-clinical studies. Twelve drug candidates have been successfully transferred to domestic pharmaceutical companies. Eight drug candidates entered phase I clinical trial. Prof Li is the co-inventor of 227 patents (with 153 already issued). Prof. Li has published 506 SCI papers, >10000 total citations. Prof Li has been supported by the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, selected as one of the leading talents in Science and Technology innovation of the National Project of Tens of Millions of Talents, National Young and Middle-aged Leading Talents in Science and Technology Innovation, and National "Ten Thousand Talents Plan" leading Talents in science and technology innovation. Prof. Li has won the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the second prize of national Science and Technology Progress, and the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress.
